Lt Col Subhash Chander Sipehiya, SM & Bar to SM (Retd) is a decorated Indian Army veteran and the Managing Director of Golden Sun Security Services Private Limited. With nearly 22 years of distinguished military service followed by a successful national and international corporate career, he brings to the security industry a rare combination of operational leadership, security expertise, people management and business discipline.
During his Army career, Lt Col Sipehiya served in demanding operational environments ranging from Siachen to the jungles of eastern India. He held important command, staff and administrative appointments, including serving as Second-in-Command of an Infantry Battalion and holding an appointment at Army Headquarters in New Delhi. His responsibilities covered personnel administration, works, finance and welfare, logistics and institutional resources.
His military service included challenging anti-militancy and counter-terrorism operations. In recognition of his courage, leadership and commitment to duty during operations, he was awarded the Sena Medal and subsequently a Bar to the Sena Medal.
Following his retirement from the Indian Army, Lt Col Sipehiya successfully transitioned into the corporate and international sectors. His professional experience spans security and loss prevention, fraud management, human resources, administration, transport, liaison and project support.
He served as DGM – Fraud Management with Reliance Retail Limited in Bengaluru, where he handled critical security, loss-prevention and fraud-management responsibilities. He subsequently held senior positions connected with major infrastructure projects and international operations.
His international professional exposure includes assignments in Iraq, Tanzania, Abu Dhabi, Algeria and Dubai with Dodsal Group . He served as Head – Security, HR & Administration with Shapoorji Pallonji in Algeria and was also associated with business operations in Dubai. These assignments strengthened his ability to manage diverse workforces, resources and operations in challenging multicultural environments.
